It Is A Time For Choosing
Watching the news media throughout the day as I am accustomed to do right now, it has been hard to understand the multitude of anti-Semitic demonstrations that are taking place here in America, and in many other countries around the world.
I am wondering if this is possibly a fulfillment of the well known aphorism by the late Philosopher George Santayana who said: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
Is the current population of Millennials and Gen Zer’s so unfamiliar with history that they are doomed to repeat the evils done to the Jewish people by Hitlers Nazi Regime that murdered six million Jews in their attempt at a Final Solution to what Hitler considered ‘the Jewish problem.’
It may be more than coincidence that Santayana was for a time a professor of Philosophy at Harvard, and many of the worst offenders in today’s parade of fools filling the streets in support of the blood thirsty Hamas demons attend Harvard and other so called ‘elite’ Ivy League institutions.
I have often wondered why so many people go to college with the idea of getting ahead in life and becoming “smarter”, but when they get there they act so stupid. This current crowd, however, is taking their ignorance to new levels.
Their lack of basic intelligence seems only to be overshadowed by their failure to muster up enough moral clarity to rise above the mass of demon driven idiots now filling our streets and campuses, carrying banner flags for those who would eventually turn on them once they managed to do away with the Jews they seem to hate so much.
Do they indeed think that radical Muslims would celebrate their “Woke” morality or things like feminism, homosexuality, gender diversity, or transgender marriages happening in their communities. I don’t think so.
And how about the Hollywood elites who are professing their support for the Palestinian radicals over the Jews. The loose morals represented by most of the Hollywood crowd would very likely cost them their own heads if the Jews were to lose this war and the Islamic religion gained a bigger foothold in the middle east and in this country as well.
And yet, we see what is going on with mass groups of marchers supporting Hamas with shouts that call for the total elimination of the nation of Israel and Jews in general, (though they are the only real beacon of hope for representative government and freedom of religion existing in the middle east today.)
September 11th 2001 gave us a clear picture of what radical Islamist’s think of our American way of life. Don’t be fooled by the thought that Christians and Jews serve the same God or desire the same things as Muslims do.
The Quran says in Sua 4:171-2:
“People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three.' Refrain; better is it for you. God is only One God. Glory be to Him -- That He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth; God suffices for a guardian.
In other words, refrain from saying that Jesus is the Son of God since God (Allah) has no need for a Son to do His bidding.
However, the Bible says: “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” ( 1 John 2:23 nkjv)
They can’t both be right!
In the words of Joshua: “Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).
